![]() (Sorry about the formatting, this is actually my first Reddit post). Thanks for taking the time to read and response. While I'm not tilted by this cheater as I can always just join another server if the f2ps won't vote kick him (which is sadly, all the time), I'm very curious as to how the cheat program he's using allows him to join TF2 matchmaking games? ![]() I met him again for the third time in a casual game on the weekend. ![]() ![]() Everyone was pissed and I think they all reported him, because a few days later when I went to check his profile, he got a fresh new VAC ban, along with a game ban (but it didn't say which game it was). He spawncamped me coming out of blu spawn on barnblitz's first point, but no one else believed he was a cheater until he started headshotting everyone on the last point. Also, these VAC bans have been used to determine if a person can be a member of a Clan/Guild/etc. Checked his profile and he already has a VAC ban (can't remember how many days ago though).Ī few days later, met him in another casual game, and the same thing happened. One example of VAC bans being used this way is to determine if a player can join a server on a different game (IE Rust Servers and many other games to) that the person didn’t get a VAC ban in, will not allow a VAC banned player to join. Called him out on cheating, but he hid it very well (only headshotting others 60,70% of the time, spacing each shot out). Went spy to check if he's cheating, got headshotted whilst invis once I got out to the balcony (2fort). Headshotted him twice as a sniper when he was playing as a demoman, he then switched to sniper and started headshotting + taunting me on every kill and trashtalking after. I met this cheater (and his two friends) about 2 weeks ago in a TF2 casual game. TLDR: VAC-banned cheater continues to join TF2 casual matchmaking games despite being banned at least twice
